Our principal remuneration for the placement and service of your insurance policy(ies) will be by commission (a proportion of the premium paid that is allowed to us by the insurance company(ies)) and/or a mutually agreed fee paid by our clients. You should be aware that we may receive additional income from the following sources:

  • Interest or Investment Income earned on insurance premiums.
  • Expense Allowances or Reimbursements from insurance companies and other vendors for
    • educational and professional development programs;
    • managing and administering certain binding authorities and other similar facilities, including claims which may arise, and
    • attendance at insurance company meetings and events; all of which we believe enable us to provide more efficient service and competitive terms to those clients for whom we consider the use of such facilities appropriate.
  • Contingent Commission (sometimes referred to as "profit sharing") which can be based on profitability, premium volume and/or growth. If any part of your account is on a fee basis, we will not accept contingent commissions related to your account.     We want our clients to have confidence in how we represent them in the insurance marketplace. Moreover, openness and honesty in all business relationships are core values to which we subscribe. It is our promise to recommend a particular insurer or coverage product that we believe to be best for our clients without giving consideration what contingent or secondary compensation we might receive. Upon request, we will provide our clients with detailed information about the compensation we receives from placing their coverages and/or servicing their accounts.     This Statement does not apply if we are acting only as an intermediary between an insurer and the client’s producer, for example as a managing general agent, a sales manager, wholesale broker or a reinsurance intermediary. We are not be able to disclose commission or contingent income paid to other managing general agents, wholesale brokers or reinsurance intermediaries that we may source out to place certain coverages on your behalf.
